Why are they called Kitchen Sink Cookies?

These epic cookies are called Kitchen Sink Cookies because they are made with everything but the kitchen sink! Meaning they are loaded with pretty much whatever you have in your kitchen and the result is sweet & salty perfection. I chose to add sweet chocolate chips, salty potato chips, rich butterscotch chips, and crunchy pretzels. And let me tell you … flavor explosion!

You can even add more to your kitchen sink cookies if you’d like! Things like marshmallows, a caramel swirl, or m&ms! The sky is truly the limit my friends.

Ingredients needed for Peanut Butter Kitchen Sink Cookies…

These kitchen sink cookies call for mainly healthy and simple ingredients! They have a dairy and gluten free base and the fun comes in with all the delicious mix-ins. You will absolutely love!

  • Peanut Butter: I love the addition of peanut butter to these kitchen sink cookies! It makes for a delicious flavor and chewy cookie. You’ll need 1/2 cup of naturally and runny peanut butter.
  • Coconut Sugar: Coconut sugar is my favorite sugar to bake with! It is refined sugar to free, but has a similar taste and feel to brown sugar. Add 1/3 cup!
  • Applesauce: I love adding a bit of applesauce to my baked goods! It adds some natural sweetness and the perfect moisture. 1 tbsp is the perfect amount!
  • Almond Flour: Almond flour is a gluten free flour that makes for perfectly soft & fluffy treats! You will need 2/3 cup.
  • Egg: Add 1 egg to these cookies for binding and moisture!
  • Vanilla Extract: Vanilla extract gives these peanut butter kitchen sink cookies that classic taste we all know and love! Add 1/2 tsp.
  • Baking Powder: 1/2 tsp of baking powder is needed to give these cookies the perfect texture.
  • Salt: A pinch of salt balances out the sweetness of these cookies perfectly!
  • Mix-ins: I used semi sweet chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, potato chips, and pretzels for the perfect sweet & salty mix-ins to these cookies! 2 tbsp of each worked deliciously.
