Hi friends & welcome to Wellness by Kay !! My name is Kayla and I am the recipe developer, food photographer, and pretty much the person behind everything Wellness by Kay. I am currently a college student studying engineering, but my true passion is in the kitchen! I have been passionate about healthy eating and cooking for as long as I can remember. I started out by just snapping quick photos of my creations and uploading them to Instagram. Fast forward a couple years and that interest in healthy eating & quick photos has turned into an absolute love for recipe development, food photography, connecting with like minded people, and sharing bits of my life!
Wellness by Kay is my creative outlet and a place for me to share my love of food with the world! I create lots of healthy recipes that fit pretty much any and every lifestyle or way of eating! Dairy free, gluten free, grain free, vegan, refined sugar free … you name it & I can almost guarantee I’ve got it! But I also love to share more classic recipes and a touch of indulgent ones too. Meaning I am not afraid to use butter, regular flour, or lots of cheese in my delicious recipes! I am a firm believer in a balanced lifestyle, and that any and every food fits into a healthy diet and belongs on my table.
