Ingredients needed…
Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs are made with ground beef, garlic & onion, fresh parsley, and lots of Italian seasonings! Plus gooey, melty mozzarella cheese of course.
- Ground Beef: You will need 1 lb ground beef to make these juicy meatballs!
- Onion & Garlic: Fresh onion and garlic add tons of delicious flavor here. You’ll need 1 small onion and 4 garlic cloves both chopped & diced very finely.
- Parmesan Cheese: In my opinion, the more cheese the better. So of course we’re adding 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese to the meatball mixture!
- Panko Breadcrumbs: Panko breadcrumbs help to hold this recipe together. Add 1/2 cup.
- Egg: 1 egg helps with binding here too!
- Mozzarella Cheese: Fresh mozzarella cheese is of course the star of the show in these stuffed meatballs! You will need about 4 oz, but you could honestly stuff as much or as little as you’d like into this recipe.
- Marinara Sauce: These meatballs are simmered in 2 cups of your favorite store bought marinara sauce!
- Fresh Parsley: This recipe calls for tons of fresh parsley! Add 1/4 cup to the ground beef mixture and more on top of the finished product for a beautiful garnish.
- Basil, Oregano, Salt, & Pepper: 1/2 tsp dried basil, 1/2 tsp dried oregano, 1/2 tsp salt, and pepper add tons of delicious flavors to this recipe!
- Olive Oil: You’ll need 1-2 tbsp olive oil to brown this meatballs perfectly.

How to best serve Cheese Stuffed Meatballs..
I highly recommend serving these meatballs on top of a big bowl of pasta with garlic knots on the side. Add parmesan cheese and finely chopped fresh parsley for ultimate deliciousness.
You could also add a vegetable like roasted broccoli or a fresh side salad.
Another great idea is to add to a sub or hoagie roll for a meatball sub!
