First fill a large pot with water. Heavily salt the water and bring to a boil. Add the baby potatoes. Boil for 20 minutes or until fork tender. Drain and thoroughly dry the potatoes. Add the boiled potatoes to a large mixing bowl.

Transfer the seasoned potatoes to a large baking sheet. Smash each potato gently with the bottom of a glass jar or potato smasher. Add any remaining garlic or parmesan cheese left in the mixing bowl to the top of the potatoes.
