Single Serve Hot Cocoa Cake is the perfect sweet treat for the holiday season.  Easy, delicious, and made with mainly healthy ingredients you will want to make this cozy recipe again and again!  Pure chocolate & melty marshmallow goodness.

  • 1 tbsp refined coconut oil, melted
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp applesauce
  • 1 1/2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp marshmallows
  • 1 tbsp chocolate chips
  • salt

  1. Set the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine the coconut oil, almond butter, applesauce, pure maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add in the whole wheat pastry flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.  Combine evenly.
  4. Transfer to a greased small baking dish.  I use a mini pie dish but any small oven safe bowl should work.  Top with the chocolate chips and marshmallows.
  5. Bake for 13 minutes.
  6. Enjoy!
