Sprinkle Chocolate Chip Cookies are a fun, festive, and delicious treat for any special occasion! Made with semi sweet chocolate chips and rainbow sprinkles – these colorful cookies are soft, chewy, crispy, and easy to make too. - 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles
Instructions
- First set the oven to 350 degrees.
- Next to a large mixing bowl add the melted butter, light brown sugar, and white sugar. Combine evenly.
- Then add the egg and vanilla extract. Combine.
- In a separate large bowl combine the all purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients. Combine until a cookie dough forms.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and rainbow sprinkles.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Next scoop about 1 1/2 tbsp of the cold cookie dough for each cookie dough ball. Roll each scoop into an even round ball. Place them on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. (You should be able to make 18 cookies.)
- Bake for 15 minutes.
