Perfectly Fudgy Dairy & Gluten Free Brownies

Perfectly Fudgy Dairy Free & Gluten Free Brownies are the best homemade chocolate treat! These ooey-gooey brownies are so decadently delicious, you would never believe they are healthier than your classic brownie.  Made with coconut oil and almond flour, these from scratch brownies are truly better than the box mix!


  • 1 cup dairy free chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup refined coconut oil
  • 2/3 cup coconut sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt


  1. Set the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, or a separate microwave safe bowl, melt the dairy free chocolate chips and coconut oil.  I do this in the microwave in 10-15 second intervals, stirring in between each, until melted.  Transfer the melted chocolate to the mixing bowl if it is not already there.
  3. Add in the coconut sugar and vanilla extract.  Combine until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl whisk the two eggs for about a minute until slightly foamy and some bubbles have formed.  Add the whisked eggs to the batter and combine.
  5. Next add in the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir until just combined.
  6. Transfer the brownie batter to a greased or lined 8×8 baking dish.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Let cool, cut into squares, and enjoy!
