  • 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1 cup whipped cream cheese
  • 3 large sweet onions, sliced thinly
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • salt & pepper
  • fresh chives

  1. Start by thinly slicing the onions and mincing the garlic.
  2. Add the onions, butter, and olive oil to a large pan on the stove over medium heat.  Sauté for about 5 minutes until they start to shrink down a bit.  Add salt & pepper and sauté for another 10 minutes.
  3. Then add in the Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and more salt & pepper. Sauté for another 10-15 minutes, adding some water if needed.
  4. Remove the caramelized onions from the heat and let cool completely.
  5. Once cool add the onions to a mixing bowl with the greek yogurt, cream cheese, and more salt & pepper.  Combine evenly.
  6. Place the dip in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
  7. Top with fresh chives & enjoy!
