Description
Healthier Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Bars are an easy & delicious gluten free dessert recipe. Made with almond flour, oat flour, and pure maple syrup these are a much better-for-you option that tastes just as good! Can be made dairy free with dairy free cream cheese.

Chocolate Chip Bars
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 cup oat flour
- 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp coconut sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup refined coconut oil, melted
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
Cheesecake Filling
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Set the oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine the almond flour, oat flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl combine the eggs, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry and combine.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Set aside and work on the cream cheese filling. Warm the cream cheese and combine with the pure maple syrup and vanilla extract.
- Add about 2/3 of the batter to a greased 8×8 baking dish. You can use a little more if needed, just make sure you have enough batter left for the top layer.
- Pour the cream cheese filling on top of the batter and spread evenly.
- Add the remaining batter on top of the cream cheese filling. This is easiest to do with your hands by placing chunks on top and then swirling/spreading.
- Bake for 18 minutes.
- Let cool, cut into squares, and enjoy!
