Gluten Free Mini Chocolate Chip Muffins

Gluten Free Mini Chocolate Chip Muffins are the best treat for kids and adults alike!  These little bites made with oat flour and almond flour are perfectly fluffy and moist at the same time.  Easy to make and full of healthy ingredient swaps, this recipe will be a new family favorite!


  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup applesauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup oat flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • salt


  1. Set the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine the softened butter, applesauce, coconut sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add in the almond flour, oat flour, baking soda, and salt. Combine evenly.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  5. Grease or line a mini muffin tin. Add about 1 tbsp of the batter to each muffin. Mine made 16 muffins!
  6. Top with more chocolate chips. (Optional but highly recommended!)
  7. Bake for 13 minutes.
  8. Let cool before removing from the tin and enjoy!
