Easy Chocolate Chip Banana Bread is truly the best!  This one bowl recipe is perfectly soft & moist, loaded with chocolate, and only takes 15 minutes to prep.  Once you try this recipe, you’ll never need another one!


  • 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 4 bananas)
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup semi sweet mini chocolate chips


  1. Set the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Next in a large mixing bowl mash your ripe bananas.
  3. Add in the melted butter, coconut sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.  Combine until smooth.
  4. Then add the all purpose flour, baking powder, and salt and combine evenly.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  6. Transfer to a greased or parchment paper lined loaf tin.  Top with extra chocolate chips and a sprinkle of salt.
  7. Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool, cut into slices, and enjoy!
