Chocolate Tahini Brownies are the best brownie recipe! Made with wholesome ingredients like tahini, almond flour, and dark chocolate … this decadent dessert is gooey, fudgy, chewy, and incredibly rich. Plus you would never be able to tell that these brownies are gluten free, grain free, and a healthier option!


  • 3.2 oz dark chocolate bar, 70-75% cacao
  • 1/2 cup tahini, runny
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips


  1. Set the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Chop the dark chocolate bar in to chunks.  Add the chocolate chunks and tahini to a small sauce pan on the stove over low heat.  Melt and combine.
  3. Add the eggs to a large bowl.  Beat with an electric mixer for 2-3 minutes until foamy and bubbly. 
  4. Transfer the tahini and melted chocolate mixture to a large mixing bowl.  Add in the remaining wet ingredients – light brown sugar, whisked eggs, and vanilla extract.  Combine evenly. 
  5. Next add in the dry ingredients – cocoa powder, almond flour, and salt.  Combine.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7.  Transfer the brownie batter to a parchment paper prepared pan, 8×8 baking dish.  Spread evenly.  Top with extra chocolate chips.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven, let cool, and cut into 16 squares.  
  10. Enjoy!
