- 3.2 oz dark chocolate bar, 70-75% cacao
- 1/2 cup tahini, runny
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Set the oven to 350 degrees.
- Chop the dark chocolate bar in to chunks. Add the chocolate chunks and tahini to a small sauce pan on the stove over low heat. Melt and combine.
- Add the eggs to a large bowl. Beat with an electric mixer for 2-3 minutes until foamy and bubbly.
- Transfer the tahini and melted chocolate mixture to a large mixing bowl. Add in the remaining wet ingredients – light brown sugar, whisked eggs, and vanilla extract. Combine evenly.
- Next add in the dry ingredients – cocoa powder, almond flour, and salt. Combine.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Transfer the brownie batter to a parchment paper prepared pan, 8×8 baking dish. Spread evenly. Top with extra chocolate chips.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, let cool, and cut into 16 squares.
