Add 1 tbsp olive oil to a large skillet on the stove over medium-high heat. Add in the chicken and season with salt and pepper.  Sauté until the chicken is cooked through, about 8 minutes.

Turn the heat to low and add the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil, minced garlic, dried basil, and dried oregano to the pan. Sauté for about 1 minute.

Add in the halved cherry tomatoes and season with salt and pepper.  Sauté on low for about 5 minutes, until the tomatoes soften and become saucy.

Add the cooked pasta and cooked chicken to the skillet with the tomatoes.  Combine thoroughly.
