Spread the apple slices in one layer on a parchment paper lined baking tray. Pat with a paper towel to remove some of the liquid. Bake for 10 minutes. Flip the apple slices, pat with a paper towel again, and bake for another 10 minutes.

Add the oats, dried & chopped apple, and salt to a large mixing bowl. Next pour the melted liquid mixture on top. Combine thoroughly!

Next spread the granola mixture as thin as possible on a parchment paper lined baking tray. Sprinkle extra cinnamon & brown sugar on top. Bake!
