Peel and mash half of the banana.

Bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes until your desired thickness.  Stirring intermittently.

Remove the cooked oats from the heat.  Stir in the mashed 1/2 banana, light brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and cream.
