Ground Beef Fajitas are a quick, easy, and delicious weeknight dinner recipe! Made with lean ground beef, peppers, onions, and a homemade fajita seasoning – this dish is colorful, flavorful, and comes together in about 30 minutes. Serve in tortillas or a rice bowl with all of your favorite toppings for a meal the whole family will love!

- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp olive oil, separated
- 1 large yellow onion (or 2 small), sliced
- 3 bell peppers, sliced
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 lime, juiced
- For serving: tortillas, cheese, sour cream, and your favorite toppings.
Instructions
- Add 1 tbsp olive oil to a large skillet or pan on the stove over medium-high heat.
- Once hot, add the ground beef. Break it apart and cook for about 3-5 minutes until browned.
- Next add in the garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Combine thoroughly. Remove the seasoned beef from the pan.
- Add the remaining 1 tbsp of olive oil to the skillet with the peppers, onion, and garlic. Sauté the vegetables for 10 minutes until tender and slightly charred.
- Add the fresh lime juice and cooked ground beef back into the pan with the fajita veggies. Cook until everything is warmed throughout and the flavors are combined.
- Serve with tortillas and your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
