Description
These deliciously Fudgy Vegan Chickpea Brownies are completely grain free, gluten free, and refined-sugar free! These brownies are made with super simple, minimal, and healthy ingredients making them the ultimate guilt-free dessert.
Ingredients

- 1 cup chickpeas
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp almond milk
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup dairy free chocolate chips
- salt
Instructions
- Set the oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine chickpeas, almond butter, tahini, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and almond milk in high speed blender or food processor until smooth.
- Once smooth add in the remaining ingredients, besides chocolate chips, and combine again until smooth.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased or parchment paper lined 8×8 baking tray.
- Top with extra chocolate chips (optional, but highly recommended!) and a sprinkle of salt.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until a fork or toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool, cut into squares, and enjoy!
Notes
- If you don’t have tahini you can just use entirely almond butter. Or you can totally switch it up with whatever nut butter you’re feeling!
