Fudgy Vegan Chickpea Brownies

These deliciously Fudgy Vegan Chickpea Brownies are completely grain free, gluten free, and refined-sugar free!  These brownies are made with super simple, minimal, and healthy ingredients making them the ultimate guilt-free dessert.


  • 1 cup chickpeas
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp almond milk
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup dairy free chocolate chips
  • salt


  1. Set the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine chickpeas, almond butter, tahini, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and almond milk in high speed blender or food processor until smooth.
  3. Once smooth add in the remaining ingredients, besides chocolate chips, and combine again until smooth.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased or parchment paper lined 8×8 baking tray.
  6. Top with extra chocolate chips (optional, but highly recommended!) and a sprinkle of salt.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until a fork or toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool, cut into squares, and enjoy!


  • If you don’t have tahini you can just use entirely almond butter.  Or you can totally switch it up with whatever nut butter you’re feeling!
