Description

Beat the heat and get your sweet fix with my healthy Frozen Peanut Butter Yogurt Balls recipe. These tasty little bites are made with just 6 simple ingredients and only 10 minutes of active prep. Better yet, they clock in at just 115 calories per ball with 3.5 grams of protein including the optional chocolate drizzle!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Cup Greek yogurt (2 x 5.3 ounce containers)
  • ½ Cup peanut butter
  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 6 Tablespoons mini chocolate chips

Optional drizzle:

  • 4 Tablespoons chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with wax paper and set aside.

  2. Combine the yogurt, peanut butter, honey, vanilla, and cinnamon in a medium size bowl. Stir well.

  3. Add the chocolate chips and stir again to combine.

  4. Scoop the mixture into balls (about 2 tablespoons in size) using a cookie scoop or two spoons. Dollop on the prepared baking sheet.

  5. Freeze for 3-4 hours before serving.

  6. Optional drizzle: add chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl. Heat on 50% power for 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Once melted, drizzle the chocolate over the frozen yogurt bites and return them to the freezer until the chocolate hardens.
