- 8 oz pasta
- 1 cup cottage cheese, full fat / whole milk
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp basil
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- Salt
- Black pepper
Instructions
- First cook the pasta according to the package directions. Set aside.
- Next add the cottage cheese, whole milk, parmesan cheese, cornstarch, garlic powder, dried oregano, and dried basil to a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Add the blended cottage cheese mixture to a large pan on the stove over low heat. Heat slowly until warmed to your liking, about 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta to the alfredo sauce. Toss to combine evenly. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve and enjoy! I like to add extra fresh parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, and cracked black pepper on top.
