Spinach & Feta Turkey Burgers

Spinach & Feta Turkey Burgers are perfect for a summer barbecue, an easy weeknight dinner, or even meal prep!  These greek inspired burgers are stuffed with salty crumbled feta cheese, sweet caramelized onion, and fresh chopped spinach.  They’re healthy, deliciously juicy, and bursting with flavor.  A true turkey burger game changer!

Ground Turkey Red Onion Feta Cheese Spinach Garlic Powder Olive Oil Salt & Pepper

Start by chopping up the red onion and spinach finely.

Prepare the vegetables...

Next sauté the chopped onion in the olive oil on medium heat until soft and fragrant. Add a splash of water or more oil if needed!

Caramelize the onion...

Then in a large bowl combine the ground turkey, caramelized onions, feta, chopped spinach, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Make the burger mixture...

Once combined, form the mixture into 6 medium-large balls.  Flatten the balls into burger shapes on a plate or baking tray.

Cook the burgers in anyway you like to cook your burgers.  I cook on a greased grill pan on the stove until cooked through and browned on both sides. About 3-5 minutes on each side.

Add each burger to a bun & top as you would like.  I recommend sliced cucumber, tomato, red onion, mayo or tzatziki, and extra feta cheese. Enjoy!
