First thinly slice the green onions and mince the fresh garlic cloves.

Next fry the bacon in a large pan.  Remove from the pan and chop up.

To the same pan add the corn, 1/2 of the chopped green onion, minced garlic, and salt & pepper.  Sauté on medium heat until fragrant and the corn is slightly charred.

Next remove the pan from the heat and stir in the cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, the chopped bacon, and salt & pepper.

Transfer the dip to a small baking dish or skillet and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.  Bake.
