Easy Chocolate Chip Muffin tips…

Follow the tips below for the perfect Chocolate Chip Muffins each & every time!

  • Flour, milk, flour! The best way to add the dry ingredients & liquid to the muffin batter is alternating between the two. It is additionally best if you start and end with the flour mixture! Alternating, allows for all ingredients to be evenly combined and ensures the liquid is thoroughly absorbed. Starting with flour also helps the gluten develop & helps with binding!
  • Mini chips! I almost always bake with mini chips. It makes for more chocolate dispersed throughout the muffin. And I mean, isn’t that the goal?
  • Customize! I recommend you customize these muffins to your liking. Swap in milk or dark chocolate, throw in some chopped nuts, or add a sprinkle of cinnamon!
  • Sugar sprinkle! I love topping muffins with a sprinkle of granulated sugar. This helps create a nice crinkly crust and the larger the sugar crystal is … the better. Raw cane sugar works very well!
