- 1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
- 1 tbsp applesauce
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 3 tbsp whole wheat pastry flour
- 1 1/2 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp dairy free chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
- splash of almond milk (if needed)
Instructions
- Set the oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine the melted coconut oil, applesauce, almond butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
- Add the whole wheat pastry flour, baking powder, and salt. Combine evenly.
- Remove 2 tbsp of the dough and add to a separate bowl.
- To that 2 tbsp, add the cocoa powder. Combine.
- Disperse the chocolate chips between the cookie dough and the brownie batter evenly. The brownie batter may be a little dry, so this is where you can add the splash of almond milk if you need!
- Grab a small baking dish or even an oven safe shallow bowl. Layer in the cookie dough and the brownie batter.
- Top with more chocolate chips and a sprinkle of salt!
- Bake for 13 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and enjoy.
